Accessibility statement
Last reviewed October 17, 2026
We want everyone to be able to use the Emerald Helm website, including people who use a screen reader, magnification, voice control, or only a keyboard. This statement covers emeraldhelm.com.
The standard we follow
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We check the site against them when we make changes, and we fix problems as we find them.
What we do
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
- Pages use real headings, landmarks and labels, so screen readers can move around them.
- Text and buttons meet WCAG contrast ratios against the dark background.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives. Decorative graphics, like the animated sea and the compass, are hidden from screen readers.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, the site’s animations stop.
- The page works when zoomed to 200% and on small screens.
- The product tour video has no speech. It plays only when you start it, and it has standard player controls.
Known limitations
- The product tour video explains the product with on-screen text. That text isn’t yet available as a written transcript. Everything it shows is also described on the home page.
- The product screenshots are pictures of the app, so a screen reader hears a short description, not every detail in the picture.
We’re working on both.
